Just observe how your reality shifts. Don't try to figure out how it's going to happen, just observe. The intend-and-forget method is what really works (at least for me) but if you can't do this, just try to observe your reality from a neutral point of view.
Usually, when you use the latter method, the manifestation tends to be slower but it'll eventually occur. It's very useful to find anything in your life to feel good about and using it as an excuse for staying in that good-feeling/neutral place.
