 Illusion or not
I don't think it matters whether or not it's an illusion.
Your likes are your likes, your personality your personality, and your experiences your experiences.
The truth is that it's worth the time to figure out how to align yourself such that what you do in the objective world or what you choose to pursue in the subjective world is in alignment with who you are.
For example, I'm not especially interested in manifesting money. I like money and I'm happy to earn money but it's not a point of bliss for me. I'm much more interested in intellectual challenge but that's me and my personality type (ENTP, in case you're wondering).
I think that certain perspectives work better for certain personality types and are also dependent upon your experience.
My goal here is to help people live fulfilled lives based on proper alignment of their bliss with their actions.
Following the path of non-duality limits your range to a sort of neutral space that may be peaceful but isn't necessarily the only path to that peace and it isn't necessarily the shortest path either.
Personally, I'd rather spend my time engaged in my bliss than in acceptance of non-bliss. But that's just me.
Let's face it, some of us find the Knights Who Say Ni! annoying and some of us just find them patently absurd. Objective reality or subjective reality. Both have their place. I just tend to live more on the objective side.
