Also being older means less responsibility towards ones children and that is kind of nice.

I hope it's okay for an elder to be among all you folks just getting started in life. (Well, if nothing else, maybe I can help to keep you all in line!! )

Now, I'll grab my cane and hobble out of here.

Shanti,

Hey welcome ! Steve maybe you could pass for older just as well, just depends on what you're lookin' for (or what someone else is )

I doubt you're using a cane, youcould2 or if you are physically that's cool, listen to "An Englishman in New York" by Sting. You're evidently not needing one for your mind and spirit any more than anyone of any age.

You're as young as you feel, you're as young as you feel inside (Gracie Slick--sounds even better in song than just in words )

I've thought of the pros and cons of starting a group sometime of people in a particular age group (40 and over?? etc.) Not sure we'd want to because I love the interchange without age in mind. I guess if we could really make sure we focused both ways (age oriented to explore some of this midlife stuff AS WELL AS general "age blind" participation in the rest of the forum), it wouldn't detract to start such a group. Whaddyathink?

-----and BTW, youcould2, I think we're "middle aged" til we're over the edge and then what---

all best to all
