I’m feeling pretty lousy this morning. Last night I began feeling nauseous around 8pm, and I went to bed at 9:30. I woke up this morning feeling like I was getting a cold. I had a runny nose, a mild headache, some fatigue, and I was sneezing a bit. I slept about 9 hours last [...]

Here are 50+ more book reviews for Personal Development for Smart People. It’s been wonderful to see all the different insights people picked up from the book.
I’ve been seeing the book in local bookstores. The local Barnes & Noble stores have at least a half dozen copies on their shelves. Borders doesn’t stock as many, [...]

The past couple days have been interesting to say the least.
After my spa day on Monday, I felt more relaxed, but I still felt pretty aggressive. I woke up Tuesday morning feeling hostile and belligerent. Later in the day, the anger went away, and I was left with this incredible feeling of power and energy, [...]

Last night I went through some pretty severe emotional detox. I started feeling incredibly angry, and I had to warn my family to steer clear of me. I wished I was still training in martial arts just so I could pummel something. I listened to a Paraliminal before bed, and that helped — it relaxed [...]

Physically I’m feeling fine, but my will to continue juice feasting has been weakening a lot. My heart isn’t in it as much as it once was.
Weight Loss
I weighed 170.4 this morning for a net loss of 8.6 pounds in 22 days.
I’m now wearing my belt one notch tighter.
Feeling Unmotivated
Aside from the weight loss, I [...]

Great day today — I’m so glad that yesterday’s headache is gone. I did an hour-long radio interview about my book this morning which was a lot of fun.
I had some emotional detox this afternoon, mainly some mild depression, but it only lasted a couple of hours. Presently I’m feeling fantastic.

Today was okay aside from a throbbing headache I had since waking up this morning. It’s not so bad when I remain still, but it hurts a lot when I get up and move around.
I’m not taking any medication since that would defeat the purpose of getting the pharmaceutical residues out instead of taking more [...]

Some recurring feedback I’ve received about my juice feast goes like this:
Steve, you’re encountering lots of obstacles on this juice feast such as food cravings, feeling sick, and emotional yo-yoing. Ergo, this is clearly the wrong path, and you should quit.

Today was another fine day. I felt great mentally and physically all day long.
After not feeling so good for a day, last night my appetite came back with a vengeance. I drank a quart of veggie juice and quickly followed it up with another quart of coconut water (the water from two young coconuts). I [...]
