Juice Feasting - Day 7

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Today I felt pretty good overall, although I was a little spacey in the middle of the day. This could have happened because I had so many sweet juices and not as many greens today.
Today’s Juices

pineapple, coconut water, raspberry
cantaloupe
Master Cleanser
carrot, celery, green leaf lettuce

I drank about 1.2 gallons total.
Juice #1 was super sweet but really [...]

Juice Feasting - Day 6

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Today I felt totally normal, about the same as I felt before I started the juice feast. I didn’t have any detox problems at all today.
Today’s Juices

watermelon
coconut water
carrot, celery, romaine, spinach, fennel, ginger, lemon
carrot, celery, yam, apple, rainbow chard, parsley, ginger, lime

I drank about 1.0 gallons total.
These juices were all very good. The organic watermelon [...]

Juice Feasting - Day 5

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

Today I felt normal physically and mentally but above average emotionally due to feelings of mild euphoria for most of the day. This was my best day of the juice feast so far.
How Much Does It Cost?
I just returned from my second shop of the juice feast. I spent $136.47 at Whole Foods for another [...]

Juice Feasting - Day 4

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Today was considerably better than yesterday, so hopefully I’m through the worst of the detox. I still felt a bit below par, but overall it wasn’t a bad day.
Nuclear Waste in a Glass
Today’s juice intake was one quart each of:

celery, cucumber, romaine, parsley, apple, grape, kiwi, fennel, red pepper, ginger, lime
carrot, cucumber, celery, apple, beet, [...]

Juice Feasting - Day 3

Monday, October 27th, 2008

This was my worst day so far. I slept 9 hours last night and woke up feeling listless and lazy. My brain was foggy the whole day, and I wasn’t very physically energetic. I felt like I was trying to function on 3-4 hours sleep, even though I slept longer than usual.
In the morning I [...]

Juice Feasting - Day 2

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

I’m finishing up the second day of my juice feast. So far it’s going very well, better than I expected.
Day 1
Yesterday (Day 1) was pretty easy. I had 4 batches of fresh juice, including:

carrot, apple, beet, parsley, kale, ginger, lime
fresh coconut water
pineapple, garlic (1 pineapple + 1 small clove garlic)
carrot, celery, kale, dandelion greens, parsley, [...]

Juice Feasting

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

I’m about to conduct a new personal experiment that’s likely to put my polyphasic sleep and raw food diet trials to shame. Starting today, I’m kicking off a 92-day juice feasting experiment.
This means that for the next 3 months, I won’t be eating any solid foods. Instead I’ll be consuming lots and lots of fresh [...]

Raw Food Weight Loss Program

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

Angela Stokes was one of the people who inspired me to switch to a 100% raw foods diet earlier this year. Her story is truly inspiring because she lost 160 pounds after going raw. Check out her before and after pics below.

You may have seen these pics before because I linked to Angela’s website back [...]

Dropping Adsense - Saying Goodbye to $100K Per Year in Easy Income

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

The day has finally arrived. I just finished removing all Google Adsense ads from StevePavlina.com. This includes the blog, the forums, and all other pages on the site. Unless I missed something, there should be no more Adsense ads showing anywhere on this website.
For long-term readers, this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. [...]
