Update Mar 21, 2008: The Spring Special is being held over for another week… until midnight on March 28th.
This is a quick announcement to inform you that Site Build It! is currently running a $100 Spring special. The details are the same as the Valentine’s Day special they ran last month. Basically when you buy one of their annual packages for $299, you can get a second one for $100. You can use the second package for yourself or give it as a gift to a friend or family member. This special is good for only a few more days — through March
21st 28th. Even given the short notice, I expect it will be pretty popular, since dozens of people took advantage of the Valentine’s special when it was available, especially in the final days before it expired.
If you haven’t seen my previous posts about it, Site Build It! is a service that helps you build a profitable online business from the ground up. They educate you step-by-step on how to do it in a very thorough, no-nonsense manner. They also provide the web hosting, tools, and technical assistance you need to make it happen, so even non-technical people can succeed. Using SBI still requires some effort on your part, but creating a profitable site with SBI is a lot easier than building a successful blog the way I did.
If this sounds interesting to you, be sure to read my initial Site Build It! review as well as my step-by-step walkthrough of what you can expect after you sign up. The whole thing comes with a money-back guarantee, so there’s no risk to check it out. If you’re a visual person, you may want to go straight to their video tour. If you have any questions at all about their service, please direct them to their questions form, which is answered by actual SBI customers.
About 350 people signed up for Site Build It! since I mentioned it here last month, and more people join every day, so I expect we’ll be seeing many new Internet businesses being launched by StevePavlina.com visitors in the weeks ahead. The feedback I’ve been hearing from those who’ve signed up has been extremely positive. Several people mentioned that the educational value alone is well worth the price. If you want to learn how to build a real online business instead of failing prey to get-rich-quick schemes, it’s important to learn from honest sources with a solid track record, and SBI is certainly one of those. They’ve been helping people build profitable websites for about 10 years now.
I know my blogging has been a little slim this month. That’s because I’ve had a lot of side projects going on, including my book and some upcoming speaking engagements. Last night I participated in a new documentary being made about overcoming the fear of public speaking. A film crew came to my Toastmasters club and filmed our entire meeting, so maybe you’ll be seeing us at Cannes someday. I expect to be able to pick up the pace of blogging in about a week, so rest assured there will be some creative new articles coming up.
In the meantime I recommend you have some fun with the newly added Random Article link. Forum members have reported some scary results when they ask a growth-oriented question before clicking it. Many of those older articles are just as popular as the newer ones, so people still get a lot of value from the 2004 and 2005 articles, especially since I prefer to write about timeless topics. If you see an article you like, be sure to take advantage of the new “Email this article to a friend” links (just below the article title). You can use it to send yourself articles as a reminder to read them later, or send it to a friend. I noticed that a lot of people have been using it to email copies of How to Become an Early Riser (the plugin I use reports which articles are being emailed). That strikes me as amusing for some reason.
Incidentally, StevePavlina.com’s web traffic has once again outgrown its web server to the point where the site has been a little sluggish at times. We’ll be upgrading to faster hardware this week. There may be a little downtime when the upgrade is done, but it should only be a matter of minutes. Thanks for helping make this site such a success and enabling me to keep doing what I love.
