[...] I was inspired recently by a series of posts by Steve Pavlina on his 30 day experiment eating a raw diet. Since reading most of his posts I have started making some changes in how I eat. When I think about how I have gone from being a true junk food junkie about 5 years ago to now eating very healthy, I realize that I made small changes along the way. [...]

[...] 30 day trials 15 02 2008 Some time ago, Steve Pavlina talked about creating habits effectively with the use of something he called “the 30 day trial“. Pretty much based on the idea that if you do something for 30 days consistently, you can turn it into a habit. He recently used it to do a 30 day trial of raw food, where he blogged in detail every day (including photos). [...]

[...] Well, a certain, inter-web famous, personal development guy, Steve Pavlina has recently finished his 30-day trial of an all-raw diet. It’s… gotten me to thinking. I’ve been living a semi-vegetarian diet for a little while now. In fact, the only reason I haven’t actually become a Vegetarian for thirty days is because it is winter and vegetable and fruit prices are too steep for my family to afford a vegetarian diet. I can definitely see myself going vegetarian, as as semi-vegetarian diet has been quite easy. With a semi-vegetarian diet, I try to not eat meat as often as I can, but as my family often has “all meat dinners”, it usually comes down to either eating meat or going hungry, and no diet is worth going hungry for. As winter ends and summer comes, you can bet you’ll see me with a vegetarian 30-day trial to see what it’s like. I’m actually quite excited for it. [...]
