[...] Veggie Chick talked about raw food diets today, and provided a link to this guy named Steve Pavlina who is eating all-raw foods for 30 days. Looking at some of his recent posts, it’s amazing to see all the changes a body goes through (both good and bad) when it’s going through that kind of detoxification. And as a vegan, he was already a healthy eater before he started – so just imagine what eating that way would do to someone who eats junk all the time… [...]

[...] 1/2 liter smoothie : typically 2 squeezed oranges, 1 banana, 1 kiwi, 1/2 cup of soy milk. But I’ll make it with any fruits to come at hand : mango, pineapple, strawberries. I’m planning on making bigger morning smoothies, perhaps heading to 1 liter. (I’m very inspired by Steve Pavlina’s 30 days raw experiment, start reading it here). Then I go to work and once there I usually eat a banana and three clementines. [...]

[...] I got the idea from Steve Pavlina’s 30 day raw food experiment. Even though his experiment is quite off the beaten path, I am finding his raw food chronicles extremely interesting. Like most things in life there is a path that has gotten me to the point were I am willing to give up meat. I personally love meats of all kind, even Scrapple! I not even ‘doing it for the animals’.
[...] If you’re just recently following this experiment, I recommend you read the last two posts from December 2007, since those explain why I’m eating minimal fat: 30 Days Raw and Raw Foods. I’ve been getting some questions via email that were answered in those two posts, so if you’re wondering about this low fat approach in addition to eating 100% raw, please start there.
[...] For this next weight loss effort, I’m probably going to need to make some diet changes outside of what I consider the two biggest secrets to my success - not eating anything after dinner and drinking at least 64 ounces (usually 100 ounces) of water every day. Maybe not something as extreme as what Steve Pavlina is doing with raw food for the month of January.
