StevePavlina.com Personal Development for Smart People podcast #7
This podcast explores those frustrating problems of life where you feel you must choose between a limited number of options, none of which seems very appealing. Should you simply buckle down and pick one of those options and push through the discomfort and uncertainty, or is your own circular thinking preventing the creating of a breakthrough third alternative solution? How do you solve the seemingly unsolvable?
In the last few minutes of this podcast, I address the classic dilemma of passion vs. profits. Should you do what you love to do, even if it doesn’t pay much, or should you sell out and do work that pays well but that doesn’t fulfill you? I use an example that many game developers must face: Should you make a game you’re passionate about or one you know will sell?
