Million Dollar Experiment – Version 2.0

I’ve received some wonderfully positive feedback about the Million Dollar Experiment. This is version 2.0.
It’s become very clear that other people are interested in running this experiment too. But I have an even better idea. Why not turn this into a group project, aiming to manifest wealth and abundance for everyone who wishes to participate? So basically what we’ll be doing is attempting to use the power of intention as a group, where each person in the group is intending for everyone else in the group to become a millionaire.
The idea of this experiment is to explore the use of conscious, focused intention. So anyone who has consciously decided to participate in holding the same intention is automatically part of the experiment. Remember that according to this model, every thought is an intention. So our goal will be to keep our thoughts consciously focused on manifesting what we want while trying to minimize incongruent thoughts (such as, “it won’t work”).
Here’s the new intention for each person who wishes to participate in the revised Million Dollar Experiment:
In an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way, in its own perfect time, for the highest good of all, I intend $1,000,000 to come into my life and into the lives of everyone who holds this intention.
Aside from my intense curiosity about the intention-manifestation model, one of the most important reasons I intend to manifest $1 million in my own life is so that I can “share the wealth” with others. Having more financial resources means that I can do even more to fulfill my vision of helping people grow, partly by investing the money directly, but also by developing a deeper understanding of wealth creation and then figuring out how to teach it to others. I think the most important motivation for me is that if I become a millionaire, I’ll have the opportunity to teach others how to do the same. Imagine what a positive impact it would have on this planet to put more financial resources into the hands of intelligent people who genuinely strive to better themselves.
But as honorable and well-intentioned as I feel those reasons are, it isn’t good enough for me just to attract more wealth into my own life. However, as I do with every intention I put out, I included the phrase “for the highest good of all” as part of my original intention. And one of the first things that manifested was the expansion of the intention itself. It seems obvious that by turning this into a group experiment for the benefit of everyone who chooses to participate, we now have a better way of serving the greater good than just manifesting my own personal wealth. I’ve often been amazed at how the phrase, “for the highest good of all,” so elegantly weaves its way towards manifestation.
With this group experiment, our goal is to use our combined thoughts to reinforce and strengthen the intentions of everyone else in the group. So if you choose to participate, you will actually have other people intending for you to become a millionaire while you do the same for them. What will happen if we get hundreds or even thousands of people all focusing on this same intention, with everyone focused on attracting greater abundance for the highest good of all? I honestly have no idea. But I’m damn curious, and it should be a lot of fun to find out. What if it actually works?
Imagine what would happen if even one person participating in this experiment succeeds. That person will be a source of inspiration to everyone else and hopefully will continue to help coach others along the way. Even if you dismiss the possibility of a superconscious power at work, I think you have to consider that the subconscious element alone may make it worthwhile to participate. If you think there’s even a small chance this experiment could have an impact, it could make you more attuned to noticing financial opportunities in your life right now. At the very least you’ll be more open to looking for them. So even if the effect is limited to your becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy, it wouldn’t be a bad prophecy to fulfill, would it?
Million Dollar Experiment Staging Area
I’ve added a new web page to this site to serve as the Million Dollar Experiment Staging Area. Visit the staging area page to learn how you can participate in this experiment, either privately or publicly. Of course it’s completely free. There’s no catch whatsoever. If you’re not into this kind of thing though, you can simply ignore it.
If you have questions about the experiment, feel free to send me those too. I may use them to construct a FAQ for this experiment.
And if this experiment works, even in a small way, then I’ll probably launch a number of spin-off intention-manifestation experiments aimed at other goals, such as healing, raising group consciousness, attracting and improving relationships, etc.

[...] Today, I joined Steve Pavlina’s Million Dollar Experiment – Version 2.0. This is basically an experiment in using the Intention-Manifestation model to manifest unexpected sums of money. Full Details can be found on Steve’s website by following the previous link. I plan to keep you updated on this blog, as far as my running total of manifested money. Also, there is a public list on Steve’s website that shows the public totals for each person who agreed to update publicly. If you are open to the idea of having more money, you may want to consider joining the MDE also. If you liked this post, consider making a donation with paypal by clicking [...]

[...] Rather than doubting our intentions, because of the APPEARANCE of what is going on, I should trust that the intention WILL manifest. This manifestation occurs, to borrow from the affirmation by Steve Pavlina’s Million Dollar Experiment, “in its own perfect time, for the highest good of all”. Just simply focus on the WHAT and WHY of what you are intending, and not so much on the HOW. If your WHY is big enough, the how will take care of itself. [...]

[...] I took a short nap this morning after getting home from work. I was lying in the bed and decided to try and program a lucid dream. I used the technique used by Erin Pavlina in the podcast she recorded at her husband Steve’s website. Basically, this technique is to lie in bed, eyes open, and try to notice when you fall asleep. This is designed to help bring a tiny amount of consciousness into your dream. I had previously started to set the intention used in version 2.0 of Steve Pavlina’s Million Dollar Experiment. As I am lying in bed, I ask myself the question “What is blocking me from manifesting the million dollars?” I kept the question in my mind while using Erin’s method of noticing when I start to fall asleep. The result? I ended up having another LUCID DREAM! What’s really interesting to note, is that I saw written text in the dream, and did a reality check on it, and looked back and it actually changed! As I posted about before, text usually doesn’t change for me. I did another reality checking technique. I looked at my hand. It started getting bigger and bigger as I looked at it. All in all, I forgot about my question as I was in the dream experience now. [...]
