[...] I’ve spent a bunch of time lately thinking about how to attract wealth into my life. I’ve got the mental virus that is keeping me broke (great site, btw, the best resource on attracting wealth I’ve found and he thinks/talks a little like me). I highly suggest reading that article because the rest of my post will make more sense. Another great one is Steve Pavlina’s “Is Becoming Wealthy Inherently Evil?” [...]

[...] Right now, the most common beliefs are those shared by society, that a person should get a job, suffer under a boss for a few years, become a manager, and suffer under even more bosses, eventually ending up pretty close to answering to a board of directors, who answer to shareholders. What if someone were to challenge that belief? Many people have, and they have ended up as either jobless, or entrepreneurs. Another belief is that a business must be centered around money, and that any values or common decency take a back seat to profits. Steve Pavlina has proven that wrong; he is making more money than he knows what to do with, but his business hasn’t violated his values once. In fact, his business is an extension of his values, with profit being a secondary bonus. There are other beliefs out there that have notable exceptions as well, but we’re all brought up not to question our beliefs. In fact, that is one of the first beliefs that have to go if you’re ready to question your other beliefs. Would Columbus have sailed the open oceans in search of India if he didn’t challenge his beliefs about the world being flat? Would the Wright Brothers have built a powered airplane if they stuck to the belief that man couldn’t fly? [...]

[...] May I suggest Steve Pavlina’s blog entitled Is Becoming Wealthy Inherently Evil? I must admit that I have never met Steve. In fact I just happened upon his site, somewhat by accident yesterday, but what I have seen so far has been interesting. Give it a read and enjoy. I, like Steve, have listened to Earl Nightnigale and love his quotes. Steve refers to the one Nothing can take the place of money in the area in which money works. One of my favorite Earl quotes is You become what you think about. Ponder over it, the meaning is deep. [...]
