Please help

This is a tremendous article. I was wondering if you any readers might give me advice. I am in the a major life change. I am turning 28 to 29 and currently live in az. I am seriously considering moving to nc where my parents are. I had a bad breakup in march of 05, that caused much emotional stress, I also lost quite a few friends and feel a lot more alone in az. But i have a good job, I am so lost, as to what to do, One minute I am ready to pack up and go. but cant quite do it. The past 4 months have been massive changes and loss , I have learned a lot about myself. Any advice or experiences would be helpful.
Thanks,
Chris

I thought this would be an interesting addition to what Steve is talking about:

From David Allen's blog, 'Richard Leider and the big picture' ...

> - Elders, when asked how they would live their life differently if they could do it again, consistently said:

> 1. They'd be more reflective
> 2. They'd be more courageous, living more authentically
> 3. They'd work harder to understand their own personal bottom line (purpose)

Keep up the good work.

Steve,

Once again, great job. There have been so many great posts that I feel like I could say this almost everytime. Thanks for all the insights....

It's somewhat off-topic, but I'm still curious: when you "pack away" your shareware awards, do you still keep them? It seems like this would be a major source of clutter. I've got tons of things like this despite my aggressive culling. Sometimes I will take a digital photo of the thing and then toss it--but tossing an award just feels wrong, at least to me.
