If you enjoyed the previous quiz, here’s another (also via Ravynstone Abbey): What philosophy do you follow?

My results are consistent with the last quiz:

Existentialism 100%
Kantianism 55%
Justice (Fairness) 55%
Hedonism 55%
Utilitarianism 45%
Strong Egoism 35%
Nihilism 20%
Apathy 5%
Divine Command 0%

You scored as Existentialism.

Your life is guided by the concept of Existentialism: You choose the meaning and purpose of your life.

So much for Divine Command…

My results are consistent with my eclecticism, as I got 5 qualities above 50%, also gets along with my pragmatism and altruism.

I must be Steve’s opposite! Ok, maybe not on the nihilism or apathy. The interesting thing about this score is the juxtaposition of divine command and hedonism, which I do see as going hand in hand.

“Your life is directed by Divine Command: your god and religion give you meaning and direction.”

    Divine Command 85%
    Hedonism 80%
    Utilitarianism 70%

  3. Yynatago Says:

I scored as Utilitarianism, same as Guillermo. Apparently I am also got quite a bit of a Hedonism in me, which surprised me. After thinking about it, the two have alot in common.

Your life is guided by the principles of Utilitarianism: You seek the greatest good for the greatest number.

    my second philosophy…
Your life is guided by the principles of Hedonism: You believe that pleasure is a great, or the greatest, good; and you try to enjoy life’s pleasures as much as you can.

“Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die!”

I got Existentialism as well .. not too surprising though. That quote from Pascal couldn’t describe my personal philosophy more.

I guess I’m most similar to Anonymous, since we have Divine command and Hedonism as first two. But my third is unlike anonymous : Existentialism. I must agree on all this since I put God on the first place, I also like to enjoy life, and of course, i love exploring the meaning of life.

  7. Scott Says:

Existentialism was 100% for me. I think it is very accurate as it is how I follow my life. I was never raised in a religious household so my belief system was shaped completely by my surroundings.
