I used to believe that too.  But I've shifted away from that belief because I saw that it was limiting me.  People too often use that concept as an excuse not to do good until they have sufficient funds, but then they never get around to it.

If you aren't already being a tremendous source of good with what little you have now, more money won't make you more generous.  The only way money will do any good is to place it into the hands of someone who is a source of good.  Such people will tend to attract money to them, yet they will still do good even with no money.

While I believe that nothing can take the place of money in the area in which money works, I see areas of tremendous good where money has very little power.  Money only magnifies what's already there; it has no transformative power of its own.</description>

		<description>Money does not necessarily buy happiness, but at least you can unhappy more comfortably.  And you're unlikely to be unhappy because you can't make ends meet.  But a genersous income gives one many more options than a lean one.  With much money you can do more good than without it.</description>
