Personal Development for Smart People^TM

Today Erin and I are taking the day off to celebrate our 7-year anniversary of marriage and our 11-year anniversary of the day we met. Technically we met on a local computer BBS, enjoying many online conversations and phone calls before we finally met in person on March 29, 1994 at my apartment. We spent a lot of time together almost every day after that and didn’t go out on our first dinner-and-a-movie date until a month later. We started out as friends, and that friendship grew closer over time. Even today Erin is still my best friend, and we’ve grown our businesses together synergistically. She did the music for my first several games (BrainWave, BrainWave 2, JumpStar, and Fortune Pack), plus she did a lot of game design and testing work over the years. And I helped her learn HTML and get started running her own web business. Since we both work from home, we still get to spend every day together.
