I’m starting a free email newsletter called Personal Development Insights. Topics covered by the newsletter will center around time management, motivation, goals & goal setting, overcoming procrastination, work habits & personal productivity, balance, courage & fear, and getting your life on purpose.
I plan to include some personal development tips and musings in the newsletter that aren’t published elsewhere on the site. So in exchange for your permission to send you an occasion email and keep in touch via the newsletter, you’ll get access to exclusive information.
I plan to send out the newsletter once a month, but the final frequency will depend on the volume of subscribers, the rate at which quality content can be produced for it, and the feedback I receive on the first few issues. I won’t send out the first issue until there’s a reasonable volume of initial subscribers — I estimate that will be sometime this Spring.
I’m not going to play stupid marketing games with you. You’ll be able to unsubscribe at any time just by clicking a link in any issue. No spam, no selling your email address, no bugging you incessantly.
If you enjoy the types of topics I cover in this blog, you’re likely to enjoy the newsletter as well. If you wish to sign up, you can do so right here.
I look forward to continue bringing you the very best ideas I find.

How well is the mailing list covered against sniffing out individual people’s addresses? Due to the vast amounts of spam I recieve I’m reluctant to put up my email address in places where anybody can see it.

If you’re referring to the risk of packet sniffing of email addresses as they’re being sent to the web server, I think the risk of that happening is negligible. I think it would be overly paranoid of me to use SSL just for newsletter sign-ups. What many people do though is create a freebie email address just for online usage. I use my hotmail account whenever I’m in doubt.
During the sign-up process for this site’s newsletter, no human being even sees the email address. It just goes straight into a database.

Which address will you be sending the newsletter from (so I can whitelist it)?

Most likely it will be sent from newsletter at this site’s domain name.

I’ve got tons of gmail invites if somebody wants one for a free e-mail account. Drop me a private e-mail.
